WHEEL DRESSING TOOL (Fig. 6, 7)

After extensive use, the grinding wheels (3) will accumulate 

in-ground metal build up. To clean the wheels detach the wheel 

dressing tool (10) from the storage holder (Fig.6)
Rest the wheel dressing tool (10) on the tool rest approx. 5mm 

from the grinding wheel (2). Switch on the grinder and wait a few 

seconds until the grinding wheel reaches full revolution then 

slowly move the dressing tool to gently touch against the 

grinding wheel holding firmly with two fingers. Do not use 

excessive pressure. (Fig.7)

CAUTION: 

Do not allow the grinding wheel and dressing tool to 

touch before the grinding wheel has reached high speed as this 

may cause the dressing tool to be flicked from your grasp 

causing serious injury.

To ensure safety and reliability, all repairs should be

performed by an AUTHORIZED SERVICE CENTER or 

other QUALIFIED SERVICE ORGANIZATION.

SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS FOR FUTURE REFERENCE.

WARNING!

After use, check the tool to make sure that it is in top 

condition. It is recommended that you take this tool to a 

RYOBI Authorized Service Center for a thorough cleaning 

and lubrication at least once a year.

DO NOT MAKE ANY ADJUSTMENTS WHILE THE 

MOTOR IS IN MOTION.
ALWAYS DISCONNECT THE POWER CORD FROM THE

RECEPTACLE BEFORE CHANGING REMOVABLE OR 

EXPENDABLE PARTS (BLADE, BIT, SANDING PAPER 

ETC.), LUBRICATING OR WORKING ON THE UNIT.
