UTILISATION OF THE TRIMMER AS AN EDGER
For edging of driveways and paths, transform the
trimmer from the trimmer mode to the edging mode
as follows.
1. Disconnect the electric cord from the power
supply.
2. Hold the shaft of the trimmer with one hand
and push the cutting head rotation button,
then twist the head into position. (Fig 6)
3. Rotate the shaft 180° until it locks in the edging
mode. (Fig 7)
REPLACEMENT OF THE CUTTING LINE
CARTRIDGE
(Fig 8, 9, 10 & 11)
Your trimmer is supplied with a fully disposable
cutting line cartridge which overcomes troublesome
rewinding of the cutting line.
To replace an empty cutting line cartridge, simply
unscrew the cover from the cartridge carrier before
inserting new replacement line cartridge (Part No.
A5041).
Push cartridge down and turn in an anti-clockwise
direction. Insert new cutting line cartridge and lock
