OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS FOR
CORDLESS IMPACTDRILL/DRIVER.
OVERVIEW
Remove the battery from the power tool and charge using the

Insert the tool and clamp.

Select the torque setting for drilling or impact drilling.
Two drilling speeds
Select the speed when the power tool is at a stand-still.
Selector switch for clockwise and anti clockwise rotation
Select the direction of rotation when the power tool is at a stand-still.
Lock-off in central position.

For switching ON/OFF.
The speed depends on the amount of pressure exerted on the switch.
Battery unlocking button
Press the button to remove the battery from the power tool.

SELECTING THE SPEED (3)
This power tool is intended for commercial in industry and trade, for
drilling and screwing in metal, wood, plastic and ceramics and for
tapping. It is also used for impact drilling in concrete, stone and brick.
Only use RYOBI batteries and battery chargers.
SWITCHING THE POWER TOOL ON/OFF (5)
Mount the charged battery. Switching the power tool ON:
Press switch (5): the speed depends on the amount of
pressure exerted on the switch.Switching the power tool OFF:
To turn off the tool, release the switch.
INVERTING THE DIRECTION OF ROTATION (4)
This button is used to select the direction of rotation.The motor cannot be
started if this button is in the central position.
Select the direction of rotation when the power tool is at a stand-still.
Speed 1: slow speed and high torque.
Speed 2: fast speed and low torque.
Carry out a trial run to determine the correct speed to suit the material.
Only select the speed when the motor has slowed down or is at a
standstill.

Before changing the drill chuck pull out the battery.
Reassemble in the reverse sequence.
Insert the drill bit or screwdriver bit using the quick clamping drill chuck.
Depending on the your work, select the appropriate speed (3) and the
screwdriving, drilling or impact drilling function (2).
Speed 1: suitable for large screws
Speed 2: suitable for small screws
The torque is set by means of an adjusting ring. The contact
pressure has no influence on the torque. Screw-driving can
becarried out from settings 1 – 24.The lowest torque is obtained
on setting 1.
The power tool must be switched off when the screwdriver bit is
placed in the screw/nut.You will hear a click when the adjusting
ring reaches the selected torque position; you can then let go of
the ring (5).
Speed 1: suitable for drilling large holes
Speed 2: suitable for drilling small holes.Turn the torque setting to
the “drilling” symbol.
Impact drilling
Turn the torque setting to the “impact drilling” symbol.
CHANGING THE DRILL CHUCK
Turn the setting ring to the “drilling” symbol.
Select (3) speed 1.
Open the drill chuck and unscrew the locking screw (Phillips
screw, left-hand thread).
Insert the Allen key into the drill chuck and loosen the drill
chuck by giving the key a light tap (right-hand thread).
