KNOW YOUR CUT-OFF MACHINE

See Figures 2 - 3.

Before attempting to use your machine, familiarize yourself 
with all operating features and safety requirements.

MOTOR

This machine has a strong motor with sufficient power to 
handle tough cutting jobs. It also has externally accessible 
brushes for ease of servicing.

14 in. ABRASIVE WHEEL

A 14 in. abrasive wheel is included with the cut-off machine. 
It will cut materials up to 5 in. thick or 8 in. wide, depending 
upon the thickness or width of the material and the setting 
at which the cut is being made.

SELF-RETRACTING LOWER WHEEL GUARD

The lower wheel guard provides protection from each side 
of the wheel. It retracts over the upper wheel guard as the 
wheel is lowered into the workpiece.

SPINDLE LOCK BUTTON

A  spindle  lock  button  has  been  provided  for  locking  the 
spindle which keeps the wheel in the machine from rotating. 
Depress and hold the spindle lock button while installing, 
changing, or removing wheel only.

QUICK LOCK-RELEASE LEVER

A quick lock-release lever has been provided on the cut-off 
machine. This feature allows you to open and close the vise 
clamp  quickly  without  repetitive  turning  of  the  vise  crank 
handle.
