11 Maintenance
The RUWAC wet separator is low-maintenance for the operating
company. Nevertheless, the operating company must ensure that
the daily checks are performed, and that the wet separator is used
carefully and serviced.
Servicing work may be performed only by capable persons
authorised by RUWAC. Only in this way can it be ensured that the
wet separator works without problems and does not release dust
into the environment.
Regular and careful servicing and inspection of the wet separator
will ensure the following points:
minimised production downtime;
reliable operation of the wet separator;
low wear;
long working life of the machine parts within the product
life cycle.
In the case of machines in dust classes M and H, the outside of the
machine must be decontaminated and cleaned before it is
removed from the workplace.
When carrying out service or repair operations, all contaminated
components which cannot be sufficiently cleaned must be
disposed of.

Maintenance contract
We strongly recommend you sign a RUWAC maintenance
contract. This ensures that the servicing work is performed by
qualified RUWAC Service Technicians and that only original spare
parts are used.
