Now place the bench top in place as shown making
sure that the front is flush with the front legs and the
rear is raised up to be flush with the underside of the
back panel. Attach it to the uprights and legs with 2
coach screws in each corner and repeat for the other
end.
Finally, remove the spacer blocks from under the
workbench and ensure all of the coach screws are
fully tightened.

Now add the rear diagonal braces, positioning them
as shown, so that the ends are flush a) with the
outside edge of the leg and b) the underside of the
back panel.
Please note: Depending on the model
you have purchased the braces may be shorter than
those illustrated. The fixing method however
remains the same.
Holding the brace in position, fix the lower end in
place using 2 of the coach screws.
