USE
• Connect the plug to the socket-contact. The LCD display shows OFF.
• Turn on the curling tongs by pressing the power switch.
• The display shows a temperature of 180°C. You can set the temperature from 100°C
to 210°C with the + or - buttons. The temperature is set in steps of 10°C.
• The appropriate temperature depends on your hair structure.
• Fine, porous, dyed or bleached hair: 100°C-160°C.
• Normal hair: 160°C-200°C.
• Strong, curly, hardy hair: 200°C-210°C.
• Remember that when you use the highest temperature, you must not treat the same
strand of hair more than once. Otherwise the hair can be damaged.
• If you press the + or - buttons for more than 2 seconds, the temperature setting is
locked. The LCD display shows LOC. This is a practical feature to lock the temperature
if the curling tongs are used for long periods.
• To lock the temperature setting, press + or - and keep the button pressed in until the
LCD display ceases to show LOC.
• If the curling tongs are turned on and are not used within an hour, they turn off
automatically. The LCD display shows SLP. Press the power switch if you want to use
the curling tongs again.
• Never leave the plug in the socket-outlet when the curling tongs are not in use.
• Always use the curling tongs on dry hair.
• Let the curling tongs cool down completely before you place them in storage.
• The straightener should be stored out of reach of children.
TIPS
SOFT CURLS
Roll a 5 cm wide strand of hair from the tip to the roots on the tongs and close the clamp.
Keep the strand of hair in position for a maximum of 10 seconds. Do not pull the curling
tongs when you unwind the strand of hair, otherwise the curl will straighten out.
