RIGHT OF COMPLAINT
By law the product must be returned to the place of purchase along with the original
receipt in the event of a complaint. The user is liable for any damage to the product that
is caused by not using the product for its intended purpose or by not following this user
manual correctly. The right of complaint will not apply in these instances.
INFORMATION ABOUT HAZARDOUS WASTE
Used products should be handled separately from
household waste. They should be taken for recycling in
accordance with local rules for waste management.
NOTE! During toasting, you can also observe the toasting colour. If it is satisfactory,
press the Cancel button to cancel the operation at any time. Never lift the carriage
handle to cancel toasting.
6. If the bread has been taken out of the refrigerator: set the colour setting to your
desired colour. Press the carriage handle down until it clicks into place, then press
the
DEFROST button
. The defrost indicator will be illuminated and your bread will be
toasted to the desired colour.
7. If you want to warm cold toasted bread, fi rstly press the
REHEAT button
. The Reheat
indicator button will be illuminated. Then lower the carriage handle until it clicks into
place. In this mode the toasting time is fi xed, so once the toast is ready, the carriage
handle will automatically pop up and end the reheating process.
CAUTION
• Remove all protective wrappings prior to toasting.
• If toaster starts to smoke,
Press CANCEL button to stop toasting immediately.
• Avoid toasting the food with extremely runny ingredients such as butter.
• Never attempt to remove bread jammed in the slots without unplugging the toaster
from the electrical outlet fi rst. Take care not to damage the internal mechanism or
heating elements when removing bread.
• The bread slot is only applicable for toasting regular bread slice. Toast irregular bread
or round bread on the toast rack.
• In order to achieve uniform color, we recommend waiting at least 30 seconds between
each toasting so that the color control can reset automatically.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
1. Before cleaning, unplug from the appliance and let the appliance cool down completely.
2. Wipe the outside with soft dry cloth. Never use metal polish.
3. Pull out crumb tray at bottom of toaster and empty it. If toaster is used frequently,
accumulated bread crumbs should be removed at least once a week. Make sure the
crumb tray is completely closed before using the toaster again.
4. When not in use or storage, the power cord may be twisted under the bottom of toaster.
