• The appliance shall, under no circumstances, be covered with insulating
material or similar material.
• This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and
persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of
experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction
concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards in-
volved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance
shall not be made by children unless they are older than 8 and supervised.
• The terrace heater is intended for household use. It must not be used on buil-
ding sites, or in greenhouses, stables and other places filled with flammable
dust.
• Do not use the terrace heater:
- near water, e.g. swimming pools or showers,
- in dusty environments,
- where there is steam or in the vicinity of gases,
- as a towel rail, or to dry clothes,
- for heating a sauna or other areas,
- when rearing animals.
• Check to ensure that the correct mains voltage is used. Refer to the rating
label of the product.
• Never use the product in the vicinity of heat sources.
• Use the product only for its intended purpose.
• Use only the accessories supplied.
• The mains cable should be checked regularly. Never use the product if the
mains cable or plug is damaged.
• If the supply cord is damaged, it should be replaced by supplier, retailer,
it‘s service agent or a similarly qualified person in order to avoid a hazard.
• Protect yourself against electric shock. Do not dip the power cable, plug or
product in water or any other liquid.
• Never place the mains cable over hot surfaces, sharp edges or corners.
