6.4 Walking test
• You can perform a test to determine the size of the area covered by the movement
sensor.
• Set LUX to the sun and TIME to minimum and walk in the area you want to monitor.
NOTE!
After the movement detector has switched the light on, the set time is counted from the
start again each time new movements are detected.
The movement detector is affected by heat radiation. At low outdoor temperatures, the
detector is more sensitive to body heat than at higher temperatures.
If the light is not activated at night, this may be because street lighting, house lights
or other lighting in the surrounding area are affecting activation. Turn the LUX control
towards the sun icon to increase the daylight level. If the light is activated unnecessarily
during the day, turn the LUX control toward the moon icon to reduce the daylight level.
To ensure that the movement detector works properly, clean it regularly (see “Cleaning
and Care”).
7. CARE
