DELAY SETUP
To establish the proper delay, it is recommended that the Delay
control is set at half way (12 o’clock). This is approximately a delay
of 10 to 15 seconds. With both
AMP A
and
AMP B
connected.
Turn on both sources. The audio from
AMP B
will be hjeard from
the speakers. Turn off
AMP B
and time the delay to when
AMP A
is
heard. To increase the time delay rotate the
DELAY
control
clockwise, to decrease the delay rotate the control counter
clockwise. Repeat these steps until the desired delay is achieved.
SENSITIVITY SETUP
Set the
trigger control
approximately half
way (12 o’clock). Play
AMP B
,
monitoring the volume level;
lower the volume level of
AMP B
to the minimum level required to
maintain the signal on the
AB-3
.
Remember
AMP B
is the primary
source. The volume adjustment
will be made from
AMP B
. Allow
the audio to play for a minute to
determine if this level will keep
the
AB-3
selected to your local source. If the volume level that you
have chosen is not enough to keep the
AB-3
selected, increase the
sensitivity
(TRIGGER)
adjustments by rotating the control
clockwise. Make these adjustments with a slight rotation. Try to
avoid rotating the control too much. If the sensitivity adjustment is
set too sensitive the
AB-3
could randomly switch. If this occurs
TV W/ SPEAKER OUTPUTS
If your TV has speaker outputs,
connect them to the
AMP B
input
on the
AB-3
.
TV W/ VARIABLE OUTPUTS
If your TV does not have external
speaker outputs, connect your TV’s
variable out to an amplifier then to
AMP B
on the
AB-3
.
TV W/O VARIABLE OUTPUTS
If your TV only has RCA outputs,
connect your TV to a receiver /
integrated amplifier. Connect the
receiver/amplifier outputs to the
AMP B
input on the
AB-3
