41 While the bin is open, turn it upside down.
42 Use the grips on the plastic filter to turn the filter about 8mm (

in) clockwise, then lift it out.
43 Tap it over the newspaper, to dislodge any dirt – anything stubborn can be brushed off (an
old toothbrush is ideal for this).

b) push both tabs on top of the HEPA filter towards the cleaner
c) the right tab will push against the end of the HEPA filter lock

e) this prevents the cleaner operating without the filter – which will damage the motor
foam filter
53 The foam filter is at the rear of the bin.
54 Pull the catch, to open the cover.
55 Pull out the foam filter.
56 Wash it in warm soapy water, rinse it thoroughly, squeeze it out, then leave it to air dry.
