USING YOUR COFFEE MILL
1. Position the coffee mill on a firm level work
surface, close to a power socket and out of the
reach of children.
2. Do not plug it in yet.
3. Fit the powder cup into the unit as illustrated.
Put the powder cap on.
4. Attach the bean cup as illustrated.
5. Put the required amount of coffee beans into the
hopper. The amount will vary with the type of
coffee and your own taste, but we suggest 1
heaped dessert spoon of coffee beans per cup
of coffee.
6. Replace the bean cap on the bean cup.
7. Move the control ring by turning it to the desired
degree of fineness.
8. Turn the cup selection to grind the desired
number of cups.
9. Plug the mains lead into the power socket and, if
necessary, switch the socket on.
10. Press and release the START button. The coffee
mill will start, the beans in the bean cup will
fall between the milling wheels, and the milled
coffee will be ejected into the powder cup.
11. If you need to stop the coffee mill before the
process has finished, press the on/off button (0).
12. When the coffee mill stops, unplug from the
power socket (switch off the socket first, if it is
switchable).
13. Remove the powder cap and spoon or tip the
milled coffee into the filter, basket etc. of your
coffee maker.
14. If you need to grind more coffee, wait at least 1
minute before re-using the coffee mill.
15. Clean out the coffee mill after each use,
otherwise any coffee left in the coffee mill may
become stale, and might taint the next lot of
coffee.
