POSITIONING
• Position your toaster on a firm, level, heat-resistant surface, clear of curtains, drapes and
other combustible materials.
• Do not place the toaster on or near items that may become damaged even by moderate
sources of heat.
• Shorten the power cord by wrapping the excess cord around the clips underneath the
toaster.
The Seville 4 SliceToaster allows you to toast 2 different kinds of food at the same time and at
different settings. Be sure to make selections for each slot immediately after press the toast
control lever down.
TOASTING BREAD
• Plug the power cord into the wall power outlet and switch it on.
• Set the browning control to the desired level (1 to 6 ). Insert arrow icons
• Place the bread into the toasting slots.
• Operate the toaster by pressing the bread carriage lever down until it locks into place. It will
not lock down unless the toaster is connected to the electricity supply.
• The toaster will cook the toast for a period of time according the position of the browning
control.
Note: Bread may burn, so always monitor the cooking process.
• When done, the toast will pop up and the elements will switch off.
CANCEL
• To stop the toaster mid-cycle, press the CANCEL button.
• The toast will pop up and the elements will switch off.
EXTRA LIFT
• After toasting smaller items (bagels, crumpets, etc.), the bread carriage lever can be lifted
manually, so these smaller items can be easily removed from the toasting slots.
FROZEN BREAD
• Leave the browning control at your preferred setting.
• Place the frozen bread into the slot; lower the bread carriage lever, then press the FRO
ZEN button.
• The light will come on, and the toasting time will be altered automatically to give the same
degree of browning you get with unfrozen bread.
BAGEL FUNCTION
• This function toasts bagels or English muffins crispy on the cut side and warm on the outside.
• Adjust the browning control to the desired setting 1 - 6.
• Insert the bagel into the toasting slot with the cut side towards the inside of the toaster.
• Press the toast control lever down until it locks into place; then press the BAGEL button.
The bread guides will automatically adjust to hold the bagel slices in place.
• When toasting is complete, the toast control lever goes up and the unit shuts off.
NOTE: The BAGEL button and the CANCEL button illuminate until the toast cycle is complete or
until the CANCEL button is pressed. If the wrong button is selected, press the CANCEL button
and re-select the desired cycle.
