8MAINTENANCE.
Periodic adjustment and verification of the motor pump is required to maintain a high level
of motor pump performance. Regular maintenance helps you extend its life. The required
maintenance intervals as well as the type of maintenance to be performed are described
below .
WARNING :
Stop the engine before performing maintenance.
PRECAUTION:
Use original or equivalent parts for maintenance or repair. Replaced parts that are not
equivalent can damage the pump.
8.1 OIL CHANGE
To ensure rapid and complete drainage, evacuate the oil from the engine while the engine
is warm.
▪
Remove the oil bath filling cap and the drainage cap, then allow the oil to drain.
▪
Remove the drain cap and tighten it properly.
▪
Feed with RURIS 4T-MAX oil or API classification oil: CI-4 / SL or higher, up to
the specified level.
▪ Change the oil every 25 hours of operation or once every 6 months (if not
used).
