Place the shock flap in the closed position.
Push the throttle lever all the way down and lock it.
Release the throttle lever.
With your left hand, firmly secure the chain saw and with your right hand pull the starter
rope.
The tug-of-war must be done in two stages. The first stage shall be done by gently pulling
the starter until the rope is pre-tensioned. The second stage shall be by constant pulling.
The pulling is done until you hear the first starting sound. After the first starting symptom
stop pulling on the starter rope and switch the choke to the open position. At this point,
pull the starter rope in the same way as explained above until the engine starts at full
revs.
To idle the engine, squeeze the throttle and then release.
WARNING
! Do not jerk the starter when pulling, as you risk damaging the entire starter
assembly.
Always pull by pre-tensioning the starter rope.
Stopping the engine
The motor of the motorised cutter is switched off as follows:

Release the throttle lever and let the engine run for about 1 minute.
▪
Switch the on-off switch to position "0"
