Install the left pedal first
–
the left pedal is marked with an “L” as shown below.

The left pedal is threaded backwards, so thread the shaft into the crank arm in a
counterclockwise motion as depicted below.
Caution: Do not force the threading of the pedal onto the crankset. Warranty does not cover
replacement cranks for stripped threads.
