Managing Authentication
(Terminal Access Controller Access-Control System Plus) is a TCP-based access control protocol that
provides authentication, authorization and acccounting services to routers, Network Access Servers (NAS) and
other networked computing devices via one or more centralized servers.
The following sections describe how to configure authentication:

Configuring
ROS can be configured to use two servers: a primary server and a backup server. If the primary server
is unavailable, the device will automatically attempt to connect with the backup server.
To configure access to either the primary or backup servers, do the following:
1. Navigate to
Administration > Configure Security Server > Configure TacPlus Server > Configure TACACS
Plus Server
