Tones/Alerts
When in the Settings menu, use the Channel
Knob to scroll to Tones/Alerts and press [ ] to
accept. Use the Channel Knob to scroll to All Tones
or Talk Permit.
All Tones: Enable or disable all radio tones and
prompts.
Talk Permit: Enable or disable the “Talk Permit”
tone, heard after pressing the PTT, to idicate
permission to talk.
Backlight
When in the Settings menu, use the Channel Knob
to scroll to Backlight and press [ ] to accept.
Use the Channel Knob to select the desired
Backlight timing and press [ ] to accept.
