Rebooting the System
Rebooting the System
You must reboot the system if you want your configuration changes to take effect.Two types of reboot are
provided:
The
Reboot
button re-starts the system. All the configurations that have been saved are preserved through
the reboot. Rebooting is necessary in order to make your configuration changes permanent.
•
If the system times out and you have to re-login before setting the reboot, you configuration changes will
be saved,
as long as you have already clicked the Update button to save the current configuration.
•
If you have powered down or logged out of the MF 2201 Gateway before clicking the
Update
button and
the
Reboot
button, your configuration changes will be lost.
The
Reboot to Factory Default
button restarts the system with the factory default configurations. All
previous configurations will be lost.
