A. Write down the MAC address (12 alphanumeric digits)
from the outside of the AP and FN case(s).

A. Using the 5mm (3/16”) hex driver, loosen the two
captive screws (A) holding the two device mounting
brackets (B) to the dual-slide adapter plate (C).
Remove the device mounting brackets and set aside
until later in this procedure.
B. Secure the mounting base to the pole with hose
clamps. Torque the hose clamp adjusting screws to
3.1 N.m (27 in-lbs).
C. Loosely install the extension arm and dual-slide
adapter plate to the mounting base using M8 bolts
and washers.
D. Adjust the extension arm and dual-slide adapter plate
to the azimuth and orientation required by the AP.
Torque the M8 bolts to 13.6 N.m (120 in-lbs).
E. If your AP is equipped with a safety cable, then thread
the safety cable around the hanger mount (A) and
thread the eye end through the loop end (B).

A. If you are mounting an AP, and the AP already has an
AP mounting bracket attached, then remove the
bracket.
B. Using the supplied flathead screws, attach the FN or
AP to a device mounting bracket with the cable
glands pointing down and/or toward the pole. Clean
oil and grease off the screw threads, apply Loctite to
the screw threads, and tighten the screws to 4.52 N.m
(40 in-lbs).

If you are not using a customer-supplied FOTC, then skip
this step and continue with

If you are using a customer-supplied FOTC:
C. Remove the factory-supplied cable gland from the FN
(A).
D. Assemble the M25-to-5/8" thread adapter with O-ring
and the strain relief cable connector (A). Make sure
the O-ring stays on the thread adapter.
E. Feed the connectorized fibers through the cable
gland opening.
F. Screw the thread adapter and strain relief cable
connector assembly into the cable gland opening (B).
G. Tighten the thread adapter and strain relief cable
connector assembly until the O-ring is compressed.
