Recommended safety distances between porchair and mobile equipment
HF telecommunication equipment and the PODOLOG STELLA 3s.
The PODOLOG STELLA 3s is designed for use in electromagnetic environments as specifi ed
below. The customer or user of the PODOLOG Stella 3 can contribute to avoiding electro-
magnetic interference by maintaining the minimum clearance range between porchair and
mobile HF telecommunication equipment (transmit-ters) and the PODOLOG STELLA 3s, de-
pending on the output line of the communications appliance as specifi ed below.

In the case of transmitters whose nominal power is not included in the above chair
the clearance distance can be ascertained by using the equation from the appropri-
ate col-umn where P represents the nominal power of the transmitters expressed in
watts (W) in accordance with the transmitter manufacturer’s specifi cations.
NOTE 1: With 80 MHz and 800 MHz, the higher frequency range applies.
NOTE 2: These guidelines are not applicable in all cases. The propagation of elec-
tro-magnetic disturbances is infl uenced by the absorption and refl ection of buil-
dings, other devices and human beings.
