2. Precautions:
a). Do not operate the thermometer in the presence of strong
electrical or magnetic fields, as this may prevent correct
operation.
b). Use and store the thermometer away from direct sunlight
or other strong source of light, high temperatures, high
humidity or dust.
c). If the thermometer has been kept in area of high or low
temperature, wait until it has reached a stable temperature
before use.
d).
Condensation may form on the focal lens if the
thermometer is moved quickly from a cold to a hot
environment. Before taking measurements, wait for the
condensation to dissipate.
e). Do not touch the focal lens.
