Trouble shooting of antenna system ADRIA 3G AIS

No function of VHF
1.1.
Check the correct association of the cables to the distribution box AV 303 according to the
installation plan.
1.2.
Check the cable between AV 303 and VHF radio for short circuit or break.
1.3.
Check the antenna cable of the antennas DELTA 163S and DELTA 3G, especially the
connectors. Checking the resistance with an ohmmeter will indicate a short circuit. To check
the antenna cable for short circuit it has to be disconnected at the antenna.
1.4.
Check the VHF radio independent from the antenna system.
2.
No function of cellular telephone
2.1.
Check if the ship is in the operation range of a base station of the mobile network - some
mobile telephone networks have a range limited by system.
2.2.
Check the cable between the cellular telephone and the AV 303 for short circuit or break. For
that the cable has to be disconnected at the AV 303 and at the mobile telephone.
The antennas, the distribution boxes and the plug-in modules may be repaired by authorized
specialists only!
