TROUBLESHOOTING
PROBLEM
POSSIBLE CAUSE
SOLUTION
“ ” Symbol is lit and the
arrow flashes.
Lack of Water.
Stop the ice maker, fill water, and press “ON/OFF” button
again to restart the unit.
“ ” Symbol is lit and
letter “F” flashes.
There is too much ice.
Dispense some ice. The symbol should disappear
No ice cubes inside.
There may be something inside or the inside wall may
require cleaning. If you still can’t start to ice making
process, press “SELECT” for more than 5 seconds to run the
ice making for 10 cycles at most.
Ambient temperature sensor breakdown
The unit can still function, however, a sensor may need to
be changed. Contact Royal Sovereign customer service
The ice-making box cannot reset normally.

Ice cubes on the evaporator
are sticking together.
The ice cycle is too long.
Stop the ice maker, and restart it after the ice blocks melt.
Select the small size ice cube selection.
Water temperature in inner tank is too low.
Change the water in the inner tank
There are ice-cubes inside the unit,
but you can’t dispense the ice cubes
when you push the “ICE” button.
Moving shaft for the Ice-cubes is blocked.
Release the button for ice-cube for 3 seconds; then push the
“ICE” button again.
Ice making cycle is normal but
no ice is made.
Ambient temperature or water temperature
in inner tank is too high.
Ensure the unit is located in a room below 90 degrees
Fahrenheit. Pour colder water into the water reservoir
Refrigerant liquid leak.
