Sharpening Stone Replacement
1.Unplug the power cord.
2.Take the blade out first as described in the Blade Replacement Section.
3.Remove the blade guard by unscrewing the guard lock screw (see Figure 4).
4.Unscrew the sharpening stone lock screw (see Figure 5) while tightly holding

the push button (see Figure 4) on the opposite side of the cutter head. Replace
the worn stone with a new one.

5.Tighten the sharpening stone lock screw while holding the push button.
6.Put the blade back as described in the Blade Replacement Section.

Motor Brush Replacement
If the motor does not run well, you may need to change the motor brushes.
Motor brushes must be replaced when their length is less than

1.Unplug the cutter from the power outlet.
2.Make alignment mark on the case and body as shown in Figure 6 for later

reassembly. Remove the 3 case screws from the cutter case.

3.With one hand on the case and the other on the head, pull and twist the case

off the body as shown in Figure 7.

4.Take the two brush holders out and check the brush length.
5.Change both brushes and brush springs if either brush is shorter than

6.Use one hand to push the case back onto the cutter while using the other hand

to push the two brush holders inside cutter body (see Figure 9).  Be sure to
align the marks between the case and the cutter
, and tighten the 3 screws.

Replacement of Coupling
Your cutter is equiped with a safety coupling to protect the motor.  It is
designed to break when cutter is over loaded or over heated so that the motor
will not be damaged.  Follow the steps below to change the coupling.
1. Unplug the cutter from the power outlet.
2. Take off the oil-ear by unscrew the oil-ear screw (see Figure 3).
3. Make alignment marks on the case and head as shown in Figure 6.
4. Unscrew the two cutter head screws and take the cutter head off (see 
    Figure 10)
5. Take the worn coupling out and put the new one in (see Figure 11).
6. Put the cutter head back while making sure the cutter head shaft fits into
    the coupling.
7. Tighten the two cutter head screws.
8. Put the oil-ear back in place.

Warranty
3 month limited warranty against manufacturer defects of this precision tool.
Abuse or dropping any portion of this tool will void the warranty.
