Cleaning and Maintenance
4.1 Safety measures

Always pull the mains plug out of the socket before servicing the appliance.
P
Only begin the maintenance or repair work once the appliance has cooled down.
4.2 Cleaning
The appliance should be covered after each use to prevent contamination by impurities.
Do not cover the appliance until it has fully cooled down.
If the appliance has nevertheless become dirty, observe the following notes during cleaning:

Always clean the appliance while cool.

Pull out mains plug before any work.
P
Only clean the appliance with a dry, soft cloth. Never use sharp and/or abrasive
cleaning agents.
4.3 Maintenance
Note that only original parts may be used for repair and maintenance work. Contact the
ROWI Service Center if need be (see Chapter 5).
4.4 Troubleshooting

start.
No power or voltage too
low.
The appliance is not swit-
ched on.
The room temperature is
above the temperature set at
the thermostat.
The tip prevention switch has
triggered.
Make sure the plug is plugged
into the socket. Check the
power supply voltage.
Turn the heating level switch to
position "I" or "II".
Increase the thermostat tempe-
rature.
Make sure that the appliance
is in a vertical position and not
exposed to any extreme tilting.
