2. Preparing the Product for Operation
2.1 Unpacking the scope of supply
Check whether the scope of supply is complete and free of defects immediately after open-
ing the packaging. Contact the seller immediately if the scope of supply is incomplete or
defective. Do not put the appliance into operation if it is defective.
2.2 Keeping the original packaging
Keep the original packaging in a safe place over the entire service life of the product. Use
the packaging for storing and transporting the appliance. Only dispose of the packaging
after the product service life has come to an end. You can find information on the proper
disposal in Chapter 8.
2.3
Setting up the appliance
Wall mounting
The appliance my only be operated when mounted securely and vertically on the wall and
with the air outlet grille directed upwards. Always ensure the required minimum distance of
1 m to flammable objects and other hazard sources.
When choosing the mounting location, make sure that there are no
concealed electrical wires or water pipes.
The appliance may only be put into operation if it has been mounted vertically
on a wall with the air outlet grille directed downwards. Mounting on the ceiling is
prohibited.
Locate the heater so that the switch and other controls cannot be touched
by anybody in the bath or under the shower.
Comply with the specified safety distances and assembly dimensions (see Fig. 2)!
