If your vacuum cleaner does not start

• The appliance is not plugged-in. Check that

the appliance is correctly plugged in.

If there is no suction

• An accessory, the tube, the flexible tube or the

pipe between the suction inlet (pt 12) and the
separator are blocked: unblock them.

• If the separator is clogged, remove the lid

(fig.19)

and clean the separator.

3 • Maintaining the HEPA filter

Remove the lid of the separator

(fig.19)

and

unscrew the separator

(fig.20)

to remove it

from its location.

Clean the inside and outside of the separator

using a cloth

(fig.21-22)

.

Remove the HEPA filter

(fig.23)

.

Rinse the HEPA filter in water under the tap

(fig.24)

. Do not put water in the HEPA filter .

Allow the filter to dry for at least 24 hours

before replacing it

(fig.24)

.

Replace the HEPA filter in its case

(fig.25)

IMPORTANT

If your HEPA filter is

damaged, you can obtain a replacement

from your retailer or Certified Service

Centres under reference ZR003401.

IMPORTANT

If suction is no longer

satisfactory after automatic cleaning of the

HEPA filter (see Cleaning and Maintenance

paragraph), it must then be cleaned manually.

TROUBLESHOOTING

IMPORTANT

Do not use detergents, or

aggressive or abrasive products. The

transparency of the dust compartment

and/or the separator cover may change in

time but this does not affect the

performances of the appliance.

• If the HEPA filter is saturated, see page 27 and

28 paragraphs 2 and 3. If the HEPA filter is
damaged, replace it (Ref. ZR003401).

If the suction of your vacuum cleaner has
dropped, it makes a noise and whistles

• An accessory, the tube, the flexible tube or the

pipe between the suction inlet (pt 12) and the
separator are partially blocked: unblock them.

• If the dust box is full, empty and clean it (see

paragraph 1).

• The separator cover is not correctly in place.

Close the separator cover correctly

(fig.27)

.

and screw in the separator

(fig.26)

.

Again close the separator lid firmly

(fig.27)

.

4 • Cleaning your vacuum

cleaner

Clean the housing of the vacuum cleaner

with a soft and humid rag and let dry with a

dry rag

(fig.28)

Wash the dust compartment in clear water,

then dry it with a dry cloth.

IMPORTANT

As soon as your vacuum

cleaner starts to malfunction, and before

performing any checks stop the appliance by

pressing the Start/Stop switch.

CAUTION

Do not touch or rub the folds of

the HEPA filter. Allow the HEPA filter to dry

completely before replacing it on the

appliance.

IMPORTANT

The HEPA filter should be

cleaned at least once a year.
