25.9 Deleting Channels
Using standard navigation, select the channel you want to delete. Move the selector tool(*) down to the
DELETE item. Press
. A WAIT message will appear, then the channel will no longer be on the list.
If you are deleting a block of channels, start with the channel with the highest frequency first to facilitate the
deleting process.

25.10 Adding Channels
You can only add a channel in the custom plan if the 6 MHz slot that the channel would fall in does not have
an allocation in the current plan. For example, you have channels 79 and 81 allocated, but channel 80 is not
defined. If that is the case, using standard navigation, change the channel to the adjacent channel below or
above the channel to be added. Now change the frequency to the desired frequency using
or
.
As the frequency moves into the empty 6 MHz slot, the REPLACE and DELETE items will disappear and the
ADD will appear. A channel name will automatically be assigned depending on the type of channel (starts at
C 1 for analogue, Q1 for QAM channel, D 1 for any data channels, and FM 1 for an FM channel). This
channel name can not be altered. Once all the channel parameters have been set, move the selector tool (*)
to the ADD item and press
.
