Remove the screw, by releasing the coupling, from the screw end piece in the drum and
lock it on the screw holding device

so that it does not slip into the tube.

Attach the extension screw to the screw end piece by means of the quick release coupling.
Î
Put the feed handle into neutral and release the pressure transducer, then push the screw
extension by hand into the drum.
The screw should only be pushed into the drum to the point where the screw end piece is still
just visible before the feed.
Î
Release the screw from the holding device and connect both screw ends by means of the
quick release coupling.
Î
Push the guide hose back until it touches the stop of the feed housing and secure with the
catch. Bring the machine back into correct position, set the pressure transducer and
continue the cleaning operation.
Disconnection of the extension screw in reverse sequence.
Place the extension screw, after uncoupling, straightaway into the screw storage container
(accessory).

Attachment/Detachment of the tools / screw

Detachment:
push the attachment key into the hole and press the tool/screw out sideways
from the coupling.
Attachment:
press the tool/screw into the coupling until it locks into position.

Switch off the machine at the green main switch

Remove the guide hose from the machine

Remove the drain plugs
