PLAYING AN AUDIO COMPACT DISC:
Insert a compact disc into the load drawer with the label side up. Press the play button on
control unit one after the compact disc has finished spinning. When playing an audio disc
through the stereo system there is no need to leave the television unit on.
Users listening to audio programming through the compact disc feature may use the
pause and rewind functions on the control unit in order to shift tracks. They may also stop
or shuffle the tracks in turn.
PLAYING A MOVIE FROM A VIDEODISC:
Insert a videodisc into the load drawer with the label side up. Choose a menu option using
the control pad on control unit one. Press the play button once the correct menu option
has been selected.
PLAYING A VIDEO GAME:
Insert a game disc into the load drawer with the label side up, and then select a menu
option using the control pad on control unit one after the demo has played. A second
controller may be attached while the unit is switched off in order to play games for two
players.
VIEWING IMAGES:
Insert a photo compact disc with the label side up. The system will automatically display
the first image that it encounters. Use the control pad to shuffle through the image
various displays stored on the disc.
ATTACHING PERIPHERALS:
Owners who use their Retro Boxes for nothing but playing audio and video compact discs
will not need to use any unit besides the basic control unit. However, those who enjoy
using the system to play video games might want to explore some other peripheral
options. Retro Industries has produced several other devices that can be attached into
either of the control jacks for video game use.
