Troubleshooting
Condition
: Vehicle will not start.
Solution
: Installer must cut and isolate the wire in pin location 3 to remove LAN communication circuit from new mirror.
Condition
: Mirror/monitor does not power on.
Solution
: Check for 12-volts of power at the
red
ignition wire. Check for less than 5 Ohms resistance to
black
ground
wire. Check for 12-volts of power at pin location 13 when ignition is on. Refer to pin diagram above for pin locations and
use.
Condition
: Monitor image displays momentarily and then powers off.
Solution
: Verify that
Green
reverse wire from mirror/monitor has 12-volts of power when the vehicle is shifted into
reverse.
