Maintenance and cleaning the BISAM 22 BRUSH
WARNING! Before doing any maintenance work on the machine, always disconnect it from the power
supply. Clean the machine after use. If the cable socket on the machine is dirty, clean it with compressed
air or with a soft brush.
Clean the exterior of the machine with a clean and dry cloth. Do not use any water near the switch area
and the power unit. Keep the handles clean and free from oil and grease.
Check that the power unit is not damaged. Check that the charging unit is not damaged and in working
order. Check that the carrying strap is not damaged. Make sure that all connections and cables are clean
and intact.
If the machine starts to vibrate, it must be turned off. Turn off the machine and disconnect the power
unit before removing any material which may be wrapped around the brush.
Safety instructions for the charger!
Please note the separate operating instructions and safety instructions for the charger, these can be
found in the charger packaging.
Notes on handling cordless tools:
• Only charge the battery with the original charger, otherwise there is a risk of fire if it is charged with
other chargers.
• Fully charge the battery before using it for the first time.
• Only use the brush with the original battery. The use of other batteries can lead to injury, risk of fire
and damage to the breasts.
• When the battery is not in use, keep it away from metal objects such as paper clips, coins, keys, nails,
screws that are bridging the contacts lead and thus cause a short circuit. A short circuit between the
battery terminals can cause burns or fire.
• If used incorrectly, liquid can leak from the battery. Avoid contact with it. In the event of accidental
contact with water, rinse. If the liquid gets into your eyes, get additional medical help. Leaking battery
fluid can cause skin irritation or burns.
Special safety instructions for cordless tools:
• Only charge your batteries indoors because the charger is only intended for this. Electric shock hazard.
• To reduce the risk of electric shock, unplug the charger before cleaning.
• Do not expose the battery to strong sunlight for long periods of time and do not place it on a radiator.
heat damages the battery and there is a risk of explosion.
• Let a warm battery cool down before charging.
• Do not open the battery and avoid mechanical damage to the battery. There is a risk of a short circuit
and vapors can escape.
