How do I configure my RNX-N4PS as a Repeater?
Repeater Mode uses WDS (Wireless Distribution System).
This Repeater mode will help to extend your current Wireless Router’s signal range
through appears to bridge and accept wireless clients at the same time (unlike
traditional bridging). It should be noted, however, that throughput in this method is
halved for all clients connected wirelessly.
Please follow below steps to set up RNX-N4PS as a Repeater.
1)
Link the Cable between your computer and RNX-N4PS’s LAN port.
2)
Open your web browser and type the IP address of the RNX-N4PS which you want
to use as the repeater. The default IP address is 192.168.0.1. At the login, enter your
username and password (default username: admin, password: admin).
3)
Through ‘‘Wizard’’ selection, you can select to set this RNX-N4PS to run at AP
Repeater Mode.
