Preparation for startup
The sequence of the described processes is to be maintained without ex-
ception!
Before each start-up it should be checked that all operating materials (oil
etc.) are full.
► Carry out complete visual checks.
► Check all relevant indicators and instruments for function and condi-
tion.
► Fill the fuel tank.
For further information refer to Chapter "Refuel".
► Wear personal protection equipment.
For further information refer to Chapter "Service and cleaning".
7.4
Positioning the power generator
► Ensure the power generator is on a secure footing.
► Position the power generator well away from flammable materials.
Wood, leaves, hay, dry grass, etc. can be ignited by exhaust
fumes and hot surfaces.
► Observe maximum permissible inclination.
•
Maximum inclination 15° in all axes.
•
When external refuelling is used, the maximum inclination must
not exceed 5° in all axes.
The maximum inclination of the portable pump only applies when
the oil is filled to the maximum level.
► If it is operated on loose surfaces or if it is tilted during operation, the
power generator must be secured against slipping and falling over.
