herewith declares that the below-described protective helmets for the fire service
HEROS-titan firefighting helmets
- conform to the provisions of the PSA Safety Regulations, BGBI No. 596/ 1994
and thus to PSA Directive 89/ 686/ EWG as amended; they were based on
Standards EN 443: 2008 and EN 14458:2004.
- are identical with the PSA, which were subject of EG Type Certification
No. PS15040016 issued by the certification body of the BG Bau
GmbH (notified by the European Commission under Ref. No. 0299).
- Also tested according to following standards and certifications:
EN 16471:2014 "Helmets for wildland fire fighting"
EN 16473:2014 "Helmets for technical rescue"
- are subject to quality assurance for the final product (Article 11A of Directive
89/ 686/ EWG) and the control of the notified certification body of DEKRA EXAM
GmbH, Adlerstraße 29, 54307 Essen.
