Set alarm limits
The alarm limits that are set in the host system need to be adjusted for the expected
maximum product level rate and configured Damping Value.
When setting the high alarm limit, a safety margin (see
) should be subtracted
from the desired high alarm limit. For the low alarm limit, the same safety margin should be
added to the desired low alarm limit.
The safety margin ensures that the response time of the device is taken into account when
specifying the alarm limits. See table

(if Signal Quality Metrics is
turned on) to determine the safety margin for your application.
Note
Alert limit values must be outside the Blind Zones and preferable outside areas with
reduced accuracy.
