Defines a 30 dB attenuation and decouples the attenuation from
the reference level.

This command couples or decouples the attenuation to the reference level. Thus, when
the reference level is changed, the R&S
FPL1000 determines the signal level for opti-
mal internal data processing and sets the required attenuation accordingly.
For the R&S
FPL1000, these commands are identical.

Configuring a Preamplifier

This command turns the internal preamplifier on and off. It requires the optional pream-
plifier hardware.
If activated, the input signal is amplified by 20
dB. The preamplifier is only active below
