Switch off the Waterless Rainbow Tube completely. Connect the 5 Button Switch Box to the
RJ45 socket in the base of the waterless tube. This is to the left of the controls
RJ45 socket
Once the Super Interactive Switch Box is connected, the remote control unit becomes
redundant. The remote control becomes active against once the switch is disconnected.
Connecting this switch overrides the mode previously chosen. With this switch connected, a
‘bubble’ effect is activated (large white ‘bubbles’ moving in the tube). It is not possible to
select a different mode with this switch connected.
To select a coloured light press one of the four buttons (red, green, yellow, blue) on the
top. The selected colour will not remain indefinitely till another colour is selected using
the switch box. The last mode selected will be activated so the amount of coloured light
visible will vary according to the mode selected. This switch is perhaps best suited to
modes 1 to 5 where the colour is solid.
To stop the humming sound and vibrations press the orange central button on the top of
the switch box. Release the button to make the pump start again. On the underside of
the Switch Box there is a dial labelled BUBBLES with two options – NORMALLY ON and
NORMALLY OFF. Switch between these so that one way the coloured light/pump starts
up if the central button is pressed and the other way the coloured light/pump will stop if
the central button is pressed.
YOU CAN ADD AN EXTERNAL SWITCH (JACK) – When a simple switch is plugged into the jack
socket on the side of the Super Interactive Switch Box, most other controls on the top of the
Super Interactive Switch Box will be over-ridden, i.e. Push Buttons, Colours etc.
There are several possible options when a simple switch is used with the 5 button Super
Interactive Switch Box. Use the dials on the underside of the Super Interactive Switch Box to
find an appropriate setting for your needs. Not all the options can be activated with the
waterless tube (e.g. the HOLD setting).
