Installation
1.
Make sure product is switched OFF before installing batteries. A competent adult
should install the batteries.
2.
Locate the battery compartment.
3.
Using a small Philips (cross-head/positive) screwdriver, remove the battery
compartment cover.
4.
Install 4 AAA alkaline batteries observing the polarity (+/-) indicated.
5.
Replace the battery compartment cover. Do not over-tighten the screw.
6.
If using an AC adapter, connect this to the AC adapter jack socket at the base of the unit.
7.
Slide the Mode switch on the underside to the desired Mode: Mode 1: turns the
rainbow on at once Mode 2: turns the rainbow on one colour at a time

Press the button on top of the rainbow to switch it ON/OFF. If left on, the Rainbow
will switch itself off automatically after 10 minutes. If you are using an adapter, the
unit will stay on until the ON/OFF button is pressed. Switch the product off after use
to save power. In Modes 1 and 2, the product is always drawing a small amount of
power so switch off after use!
