Care and Maintenance
Handle the panel with care.
To access the inside of the panel:
Always disconnect from the mains before opening up the Panel.
Remove the whole panel from the wall.
Lay the panel face up on a flat, stable surface.
Remove the screws from around the side of the panel (that joins the plastic panel to
its wooden back).
Carefully remove the plastic front cover (as a whole) from the wooden back.
Replace the cover with care after maintenance.
To Change the Fuses
In the event of product failure, check the fuses in the following order:
Input, Output, Regulator, Universal Timer (T160Ma - located under ‘supply fuse’ in
the box)
Two of the fuses are accessed by carefully removing the front of the Panel as
described above.
Lamps
The lamps are 1W, UV LED lamps, and there are two of them. These lamps should
not need replacing.
Universal Timer
To adjust the length of time the UV tubes remain illuminated, access the Universal
Timer. This is pre-set to 10 minutes. If necessary, this may be adjusted (5, 10, 15, 20
minutes). At the base of the Universal Timer Box are two small ‘Selector Switches’ –
small push switches. These are to the left of the Universal Timer fuse.
The following combinations will adjust the time of illumination:
