Attach the mirror panels to the board using a good quality, proprietary brand
contact adhesive or double sided tape e.g. Evo-Stick. The edges should be
securely glued/taped in. It is your responsibility to check that the adhesive you
use is adequate to hold the mirror, and that a sufficient amount is used at the
edges and at regular intervals across the whole of the back of the mirror. Apply
plenty of tape or glue. If using glue, spread the glue over the back before
attaching the board. Seek professional advice if in any doubt. You may wish to
screw the mirror to the board – if so, please choose appropriate tools and
fixings. Whichever fixing method is chosen, use enough tape/glue/screws to
make sure the mirror does not warp.
-
Remove the protective film.
Please follow the separate instructions supplied for the Acrylic Mirrors.
2.
Pass the fibre optic harness through the mouse hole and attach the harness to the
light source.
-
Turn the cushioned platform over and attach the light source to the wood inside
the platform.
-
Slide the boss of your fibre optics into the circular hole in the front face of the light
source, and tighten the screw on the top of the unit to secure the fibre optics.
-
Connect the power lead until this is a tight fit.
Please follow the separate instructions supplied for the Light Source.
3.
Put the bubble tube chassis in the corner
-
Remove the plastic base cover from the base unit (keep this on one side should
you wish to use the bubble tube outside the cushioned platform).
-
Put the base of the bubble tube (without the white cover) into the corner. The
hole in the top of the cushioned platform will need to be over this base so line
these up accordingly.
-
The cushioned platform should be pushed into the corner against the mirrors.
The bottom of the mirrors should be below the top of the cushioned platform.
4.
Place the second light source in the corner. Connect the carpet to it.
Please follow the separate instructions supplied for the Light Source and Milky Way
Carpet.
5.
Place the cushioned platform in position, over the bubble tube chassis and light source.
-
Lift off the top cushion off the cushioned platform.
-
Lift open the trap door of the cushioned platform (usually in two halves).
6.
Assemble the bubble tube through the trap door in the cushioned platform.
-
Fit the bubble tube column to the base using the large screws provided. Note
the location of the valves before screwing in place – orientate the column so the
pipes are near to their corresponding valve.
-
Attach the cloudy plastic pipe to the blue valve on the Bubble Tube Column and
the brown plastic pipe, which is already attached to the pump, to the metal
valve at the bottom of the Bubble Tube Column.
Please follow the separate instructions supplied for the Maxi Bubble Tube.
