If the controller is to be mounted directly on a flat wall, remove the mounting plate. Mount the mounting plate on the wall and click in the thermostat.
For wall mounting, install the thermostat at a height of approx. 150 cm above the floor and not in direct sunlight or near other heat sources.
If the thermostat is to be installed, use the supplied feet. These are placed on the back of the thermostat. The mounting plate is not required.
- To ensure correct function, the batteries should be replaced once a year (use alkaline AAA batteries, 1.5V, e.g. Duracell batteries).
- Handle the RF-OPTIMA EAZY thermostat and receiver with care, the thermostat and receiver are equipped with sensitive electronics.
- The RF-OPTIMA EAZY does not tolerate moisture, dust and extreme heat. Make sure the thermostat and receiver are protected from this.
The RF-OPTIMA Eazy thermostat and receiver are equipped with a binary code for setting the channel. The receiver is equipped with a button for
"pairing" with the thermostat. If the thermostat and receiver are not already paired, proceed as follows:
- Press button (A) Pairing button on the receiver, the green LED flashes (B).
- Turn off the thermostat by pressing the round knob.
- Press the thermostat knob again for a period of 3 seconds, the lower right display will show 0.0°C. Press the rotary knob once again, a code is
displayed in the middle of the display (e.g.: 39 9c).
- Turn the knob counterclockwise, you will hear a sound and the LED on the receiver will turn off. The thermostat and receiver are now
"coupled".
- Press the round knob on the thermostat to turn it on again.
The buzzer (switching tone) on the receiver can be switched off by pressing and holding the on/off switch (C) and the pair button (A) for a long time.
Up to 8 receivers can be connected to one thermostat.
