Locate the release lever as shown below. The lever is sprung, lift it to the vertical 
position

 and while holding the seat post lift the lever upwards

 and the two 

parts of the scooter will separate. 

 
 

 

 

 
 

 

 
 

 

 
 

 

 

 
 

 

 
To reassemble tilt the rear part of the scooter backwards and locate the rear 

frame tube into the frame locating lugs (shown below). The scooter should then 

click back together. Lift the release lever to ensure that the locking mechanism 

fully relocates and that there is no debris fouling the mechanism. 
 

 

 
 

 

 
 

 

 

 
 

 

 
 

 

 
 

 

 

Assembly is the reverse of the above procedure. 
 
The ROMA 

Murcia 

is now separated into five  components for easy 

transportation or storage. 
 

If the scooter is not to be used for periods of more than a few weeks, fully 

charge the batteries but leave the battery pack disconnected from the scooter.
