Use on stairways.
The image above indicates the lifting points should the patient be required to
be carried down stairs. These are the upper backrest handle and the two front
frame loops.
A minimum of two persons are required to undertake this task. More attendants
may be required depending on the weight of the patient and the abilities of the
attendants.
Ensure the lap / chest belt is used and that the patient is facing down the stairs.
Lift the patient in a controlled manner and proceed to descend the stairs.
