6. Manual release
When the timer is turned on, the shutter release button
can also be used to manually release the shutter. If the
shutter will be released manually, the timer will continue the
countdown (including display, focus release indicator and
beep). If the manual and automatic shutter release are set
in combination, the shutter will remain open until the end of
two exposure times.
7. Note on use
Before using the wireless remote control, please check the
battery power and the number of remaining shots in your
camera (refer to the camera manual for more information).
The timer will continue to run even if the camera is unable to
take pictures due to low battery power, no memory card or
memory buffer, or insufficient memory buffer capacity (digital
cameras only). It is recommended to use an AC adapter to
maintain power supply for a long time.
Some cameras have an auto focus activation option that determines whether the
camera is focusing when the shutter release button is pressed halfway through (see
the camera user‘s manual for more information). When using the remote control,
turn on the auto focus activation option of the shutter release button.
Please note that timers are not as accurate as most clocks.
