Thank you, and congratulations on your choice of the Roland Drum System Stage Kit. This document guides you
through assembly of the drum system, and goes on to introduce a few basics so you can start playing right away.
Before using this unit, carefully read the sections entitled: “USING THE UNIT SAFELY” (p.2). These sections provide
important information concerning the proper operation of the unit. Additionally, in order to feel assured that you have
gained a good grasp of every feature provided by your new unit, this manual should be read in its entirety. The manu-
al should be saved and kept on hand as a convenient reference.
For a detailed explanation of each piece of equipment, please refer to the respective manuals.

* Although the PD-7, PD-9, KD-7 and FD-7 were

carefully designed so as to reduce to the absolute
minimum the unwanted sound that might be pro-
duced when played (impact and other operational
sounds), such repetitive sounds can quite easily be
transmitted through floors and walls, even when
their level is minimal. For this reason, we suggest
that you exercise caution (especially in the late
hours of the night) to avoid disturbing others within
your residence or the immediate neighborhood.
