Chapter 2 Operation

2-4 Starting Printing

Getting Ready to Receive Data from a Computer

When you have finished loading media and making the temperature settings for the heating devices, then follow
the steps below. This procedure enables the machine to receive data from the computer and perform printing.

Procedure

➊

Close the front cover.

➋

Press

(making the light come on).

➌

Wait until the

light stops flashing and stays steadily lit.

➍

Wait for the dryer to warm up.

➎

Make sure you are at the top menu.

If you are not at the top menu, press

Printing Is Not Possible in These Situations

➢

The machine does not run when the front cover is open. Also, never open it when printing is in progress.
Doing so interrupts printing.

➢

Data from the computer is not accepted when

light is dark.

➢

light does not come on when media is loaded incorrectly.

➢

Printing does not start until

light comes on.

➢

Data from the computer is not accepted when you are not at the top menu.
