How to practice effectively

Listen to a song in the key that you want to practice, 

and learn it by ear.

Start by practicing one hand at a time with a slow 

tempo.

Watch the score and learn the correct fingering.

When you’re able to play without mistakes, increase 

the tempo.

Make an effort to play smoothly and consistently.
Listen carefully to the accompaniment, and keep the rhythm 

steady while you play.
